Introduction to Embracing Evangelism
All people are invited to join us for a six-part online training and conversation, Embracing Evangelism. Throughout this discussion, we’ll explore evangelism as a spiritual practice rooted in joy, gratitude, and curiosity; a practice through which we seek and speak of Jesus’ loving presence in our own lives and in the lives of others.
Embracing Evangelism is a program developed by The Episcopal Church’s Office of Evangelism, and Virginia Theological Seminary. Each session includes video teaching from leaders across the Church as well as group discussion and activities.
Our conversation will be led by Katie Forsyth, our Canon for Evangelism and Networking, along with members of our bi-diocesan Evangelism Taskforce.
This six-part series takes place on Wednesday evenings before and during Lent from 7-8:30pm.
This series is open to all in the Dioceses of Eastern and Western Michigan. Participants may join us individually, or may participate as a group from their parish. There is no cost to participate.
