Insurance is one of the key benefits we offer to parish clergy and staff. The Diocese continues to offer health, vision and dental insurance coverage with the Episcopal Church Medical Trust (ECMT), a division of the Church Pension Group (CPG) for eligible, active clergy and lay employees in the Diocese. Diocesan Canon 28.02(b), states "Each congregation shall provide health insurance through the denominational health plan for all eligible clergy and eligible lay employees.Helpful links are provided below. EDWM Policy: Minimum Level for Employer Health Insurance Coverage

In 2014, Diocesan Council established the minimum level for health insurance coverage that each parish is to provide.  Parity for both clergy and lay employees is required beginning January 1, 2015.

The policy is stated in a memo from the vice-president of Diocesan Council to all rectors, wardens and parish administrators dated September 13, 2014. (See below)
