If you would like to arrive on Friday, March 26 and stay at Camp Newaygo, please contact Brenda Huckins Bonter, Events Coordinator - Camp Newaygo. Click here to send her an e-mail. Call her at (231) 652-1184. The accommodations are bunk-beds in a dormitory setting. There will be separate sleeping rooms for men and women, and there are individual showers available. You will need to bring in all bedding & towels, and there are many places to have dinner or breakfast in lovely down-town Newaygo or close-by Fremont. The cost is $27.00 per night. Please contact Brenda with your information & you can either send her a check for the total amount, or pay by credit card when you arrive.
Who is expected to attend the retreat?
It is expected that all Confirmation, Reception and Reaffirmation Candidates attend this retreat, along with their sponsors & clergy.
What do you do if you cannot attend?
If you would like to be Confirmed, Received or Reaffirmed at our Diocesan Convention, but you cannot attend the retreat you will need to do a reading assignment & write a report. For specifics on this, please contact Gennie Callard (269) 381-2710 or e-mail Gennie.
Clergy who cannot attend must contact the Bishop.
