Episcopal Youth Camp

in the

Diocese of Western Michigan

Clergy

Being an Episcopal church camp, clergy are an integral part of our week.  We have clergy to come to serve for an entire week - as cabin counselors or spiritual directors.

Those who are there for the week as counselors have the unique perspective of building important relationships with the young people in our Diocese, and in their own parish.

The Rev. Paula Durren, Church of the Mediator in Harbert, Michigan, worked with a group of young people who wrote and gave the sermons at our daily Eucharist.

As we do have a daily Eucharist, clergy and needed and invited to serve at the table.

Day Staff

Our Staff are primarily volunteers.  Because of this, we know that some people who wish to serve cannot give up an entire week of paid work.

If you are one of those people & would like to serve, we have opportunities to serve for a day.  We always need office help (especially during registration and check-out) along with various things around the camp.

All volunteers & visitors need to register ahead of time by contacting Gennie Callard.
